Course Description

This course introduces the philosophy, performance standards and certification process of the Living Product Challenge, which is a global program of the International Living Future Institute. Living Product Challenge provides a framework for manufacturers to re-imagine the design and construction of products to function as elegantly and efficiently as anything found in the natural world. This CEU addresses requirements for the petals: place, water, energy, health and happiness, materials, equity, and beauty. These Petals include imperatives that must be met to become a Living Product. Several case studies of living products are provided explaining how the products achieved specific petals and imperatives
